WE WILL BE "TESTING OUT" THIS WEEK TO CHECK OUR PROGRESS.  MOST ATHLETES HAVE PRE CAMP TESTS THAT WERE ADMINISTERED IN WEEKS 1 AND 2.  ALL ATHLETES THAT WANT TO "TEST OUT" MUST BE IN ATTENDANCE ON MONDAY AND TUESDAY OF THIS WEEK. EVEN THOSE WITHOUT PRE TEST NUMBERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO COME AND GET TESTED THIS WEEK.

About Coach David LeBlanc

  David LeBlanc is a nationally certified strength and conditioning specialist by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (CSCS; NSCA). He is an attendee and invited guest speaker at annual National Strength and Conditioning conferences throughout the country. David has over 20 years of personal training experience. He is head of the strength and conditioning program at STM, the most successful sports program in the state of Louisiana, Kinesiology and Exercise Science instructor, and Recreational Fitness instructor. Former and current clients include Javon Walker and Luke Lawton of the NFL, current Division 1 collegiate athletes, and many others desiring personal and recreational fitness results. For 20 years, David has been making the best athletes in Acadiana better!

Our athletes’ performance is our number one goal.  We use cutting edge training modalities and equipment to ensure our athletes are functioning at their athletic potential.  Speed, power, agility, and injury resistance is our ultimate goal. We believe variety in training is crucial to constant improvement; therefore, you will NEVER repeat a workout during your time with us. Athletes will receive a battery of pre and post tests to monitor improvement in speed, strength, endurance and agility. Athletes will also receive counseling on diet and nutrition in order to help achieve their goals.
 

Why choose us?

There are numerous other options in the area to try to meet your training needs; however, none of them have the experience, expertise or facilities we offer.  For over 20 years we have trained the best athletes in Acadiana.  Our faciilities offer a brand new state of the art 2500sq ft weightroom, all weather turf track, a 120 yard all weather turf field,  a large stadium for plyometircs and endurance training, and 2 full sized basketball gyms.  No other facilities offer the space, variety, or equipment of the St. Thomas More Strength and Conditioning department.  For those athletes who will eventually attend STM, it‘s a great opportunity to get noticed by their future coaches and learn our program before even stepping on campus!!

Thank you for registering for Coach LeBlanc's speed, power, and agility camp at STM.  Reminder that camp starts Monday June 3rd at 10:00am  There are only a few spots left open if your young athlete has a peer that would still like to register.

Camp information for each training day:

-Campers should eat a good breakfast each morning before training.
-Campers can be dropped off in the student parking lot and report to the STM weightroom each day of training at 10am

-Campers should wear comfortable workout shorts, t-shit, and tennis shoes

-Campers should bring personal hydration. (water, Gatorade, etc.)

-Campers can be picked up in the student parking lot at 11am each day of training.

Frequently asked questions answered:


Do I have to complete the sessions I purchased consecutively?

      No, your training days are flexible.  We offer training for 6 weeks, and you can use any of those training days to complete your sessions purchased.


Can I add training sessions if I complete what I have purchased?

     Yes!  Additional training weeks can be added for $80 per week.


My athlete had a friend(s) sleep over last night, can they come to the camp as a guest for that day?

    Yes, athletes may bring a guest for $20 per day.

The longest running women's bootcamp in Acadiana.  We are the only bootcamp that has full indoor and outdoor capabilities.  Weightroom, track, stadiums, all weather turf!!!

 

BOOT Camp is held at STM on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 11:15-12:00..
